Vagrant. Two records. One in breeding plumage seen by John Goldie from 26 to 28 November 1999 (Morris 2002; Birds Australia data). One seen by Ben Miller on rocks near the main Island in the period from 1978 to 1980 (B. Miller pers. comm.).
