Vagrant. Four sets of records. Two birds seen by Glenn Holmes at Moseley Park Swamp on 9 April 1975; four birds seen by Peter Fullagar at the same place on 24 May 1975, probably involved the same birds (Rogers 1976). One seen by E.I. Harpley in June–July 1991 (NSWBA data). One seen at the Golf Course in March 1999 (Hutton pers. obs.). One seen by Noel Linehan and Hutton behind Old Settlement Beach from 9 to 25 November 2002 (N. Linehan in litt. to Hutton).
