Rose-crowned fruit dove

On 24 August, island resident Ethan Lamb-Kelly spotted a Rose-crowned fruit dove outside his house - a new record for Lord Howe Island. Strong westerly winds of last few days have blown this bird from mainland Australia across to the island.
