Grey ternlet

A small tern, this beautiful seabird breeds at Lord Howe Island in spring, but some birds can be seen all year round in the waters of Lord Howe Island. Not easy to see from land because they nest on remote cliff ledges, a boat trip offshore is the best way to observe these birds.

length: 28cm; wingspan: 52cm; weight 70gm.
