Stephania japonica

Stephania japonica var. timoriensis                 Family MENISPERMACEAE

 A slender herbaceous climber with soft round leaves. Not common, found in the understorey of the moist lowland forests e.g. Far Flats or Boat Harbour. Also found in north‑east Australia, New Caledonia, Samoa, Tahiti, Malesia and southeast Asia.
