Alyxia lindii

Alyxia lindii         Family APOCYNACEAE

A bush, tending to climb over other trees; easily recognised by its dense climbing habit and long dark leaves in rosettes of 3, with milky sap. This endemic plant is common on the ridges of the lowland hills i.e. Transit, Intermediate, Mt Eliza. The genus of about 120 species is distributed from India through tropical Asia to southern China, Malaysia, east and north Australia, South Pacific Islands including Hawaii.
