AUSTRALIAN RAVEN (Corvus coronoides)

Vagrant. Two sets of records. One found by Island residents on 19 September 1941 (Hindwood & Cunningham 1950). This bird remained on the main Island until 3 October 1943 when it was caught in a rabbit trap. One seen by Barry Pascoe harassing a Pacific Golden Plover in July 1992 (Morris & Burton 1994).
