BUTTERFLIES (Lepidoptera)
Biodiversity > Invertebrates > Butterflies

There are 16 species of butterflies recorded on Lord Howe Island. Some of these may be vagrants blown over in strong winds from mainland Australia and are not actually breeding here. This may be because the food plants for the larvae are not present on the island.

There are currently no subcategories belonging to the biodiversity category, Butterflies (Lepidoptera).
