At the Community open day on 4 October various community groups, staff from the Lord Howe Island Board and local businesses were invited to take a table and share what they do as a way of welcoming in the new tourist season, allowing new staff, residents and visitors to see how the community works.
The Museum had a table in the hall, and attracted a lot of interest with the digital photographic archive and demonstration of the powerful document archive system.
