Although the museum qualifies for discounts, being a not-for-profit organisation, website hosting costs, domain name registration, email hosting, payment gateway maintenance, and renewal of subscriptions for plugins and themes are on-going costs that we still have to pay each month. We are seeking donations that can be targeted specifically to paying these regular costs, which we have calculated at a little over $1,000 each year.
The content of the site is maintained by the curator, and by volunteers, and as the scope of the site increases, this work requires more time and effort. Please contact us if you would like to help, as a contributor, writer, blogger, editor or photographer.
