Following on from the success of the last five Lord Howe Island Sea Slug Censuses, we are excited to hold the sixth Census in February/March 2023.
Come and join us to photographically document the sea slug species calling Lord Howe Island Marine Park home.
The images gathered during the census will help marine scientists to update information about the diversity and distribution of this spectacular group of molluscs.
On February 25th, Dr Stephen Smith will be making a presentation to introduce this year’s Sea Slug Census. Stephen will give an overall presentation on sea slugs, how to identify them, where to find them; and how the sea slug census will be run.
4.30pm on Saturday 25th February. All welcome.
